Helen Al Uzaizi
General Management & Program Director
Helen has a diverse experience that spans over two decades across different sectors, including marketing, non-profit management, and entrepreneurship. She has supported major brands, non-profit organizations (NGOs), and startups across the MENA region as an advisor, mentor, and valued board member.
She has also worked as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bizworld in the Middle East and has been named the leading entrepreneur of the region on multiple occasions. She is also the Founder of Future Entrepreneurs and remains dedicated to empowering young with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.
She was named one of the UAE’s 100 Smartest People and one of the 50 Most Influential Women in the Arab World. She was also a TEDx Speaker on the topic of entrepreneurship education.
Hiba Kandalaft
Operations Director
Hiba Kandalaft has an academic qualification pertaining to Women, Gender, and Development and Child and Youth Studies from The Institute of Social Studies – The Hague.
Her work experience with INJAZ Jordan and UAE – a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide focused on empowering youth in the region. More recently, she was a member of the team piloting the SkillUp Start Program with BizWorld UAE.
Hiba was the Executive Director for the International Women’s Forum – Jordan Chapter. She has worked on curating training programs to help women in middle management shatter glass ceilings in their respective fields.
Hiba’s passion for empowering youth and young girls has led her to create a series of digital stories. Her initiative was later acquired by Roya Kids; an Arabic Application providing high-quality content for children.
Luay Jahshan
Marketing Director
Luay has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Oakland University, Michigan, USA, and is expected to complete his MBA from the University of Illinois in September of 2023. Luay Jahshan is a marketing consultant with over 15 years of experience specializing in startups, entrepreneurship organizations, investment funds, and financial services.
He has worked with clients all over the world across a diverse range of industries and has helped brands reach unprecedented heights.
Luay began his career leading Arab Bank's international media relations, then went on to co-found J. Brothers PR, a full-service public relations, digital marketing, and social media agency.
After his company was acquired in 2019, Luay expanded his consulting work to provide strategic support to various marketing agencies in UAE, KSA, and Jordan.
